THE CLIENT BRIEF

IDX. was introduced from their colleagues at Mullaghmore Construction to help plan the renovation of Melissa's bathroom.

Melissa's home is located in the Danforth area, one of the coolest communities in Toronto, filled with amazing food and culture.

However, the house has some age to it and while she has had some previous reno's done around the home in the past, the upper bathroom was original, even including a PURPLE tub!

Through discovery interviews, we were able to determine Melissa's style was vintage, unique, new but old.

After assessing the site, it was very clear that the family lacked the storage they needed in the bathroom as it was shared between each family member.

It also needed a lot of TLC as it was missing trim, the pocket door no longer locks, and the ceiling was done in ceiling panels - which are not meant for wet/moist conditions.
